The distinctive lifeboat station at Tenby, which has appeared on countless postcards of the town, became disused in 2004 when a new building was opened a little further round the headland. It is now being renovated; there was much excitement at the time of this photograph because apparently filming had been taking place for a property makeover television show.

It has now been converted into a house and the filming mentioned in the description was in connection with it being featured by Channel 4 'Grand Designs'
