The Norfolk Coastal Path swings well inland, south of Titchwell. Choseley Drying Barns are well known to birdwatchers, as a good site for some scarce farmland birds, 2km south of the RSPB's famous Titchwell reserve. The phone mast is visible from the coast, and may well act as a beacon for migrant birds making landfall after crossing the North Sea.
