Thornton's Bridge
The last two years have not been kind to Thornton's Bridge. Both sides of the bridge originally had vertical boards but those on the downstream side are now completely missing. The back of the bridge is also rotting and several holes have appeared. There is no public right of way over this bridge but even so it will be a sad day when it finally collapses.
