Just thought i would let you know that technically, this picture is NOT BEESWING
Beeswing, is 300 yard further back, (behind the photographer) the picture you have actually is Loch End Terrace, who's name was never changed by law when the original village was changed to Beeswing, after the famous race horse.

Allthough adopted as Beeswing locally, and called Beeswing by the post office , this scene depicts Loch End Terrace.

Beeswing, used to be called Loch End, the photo shows what was called - Loch End Terrace- When Loch End was renamed BEESWING , it only incapsulated the higher village of Loch End , from the corner at the top of the village where is now sighted the speed limit signs but at that time there was a huge oak tree, to the top of the hill just behind the photographer of this photo, where there was a huge holly tree, that are, a 1/2 mile stretch became the village of Beewing. This is where the horse was kept, trained, and where the owner lived, also it had the petrol station/shop and the pub.

The street in the photo, shows Loch End Terrace, and Loch End Church, this is a totally seperate village by law.

Anyway, as the oldest living person BORN in Beeswing, and having made the history of the village my lifes quest, i thought you may be interested. Having splurted on for ages i will now leave you, simply wanted you to know what the photo actually was.
