Old Library Site
Bill Quay library, formerly a Methodist Chapel, stood on this site, behind the phone box at the West end of Brack Terrace. It stopped functioning as a library in 1980, just before Pelaw library opened. It was subsequently used by a number of community groups for various activities, most memorable of these was an air pistol shooting club which ran from about 1983 to 1985. The building was demolished c.1995.
