Looking along King Street
Looking north-east along King Street - the Bristol Old Vic is shown with the blue flags. It is the oldest continuously working theatre in the country. The Coopers' Hall facade dates from 1743 was built by William Halfpenny and acts as the main foyer to the theatre. And just beyond are St Nicholas' Almshouses in cream which date from 1652.
