Regrowth in a cleared area in the Ipley Inclosure, New Forest
A cleared area on the eastern edge of the Ipley Inclosure, with a single standing dead pine tree. The silver birches are growing on the boundary of the inclosure and have not been felled. New conifers are growing up on the cleared ground, although these will be removed as part of a programme to return this 1960s plantation to open heathland.
