View SE outside Derby Locomotive Works on the Foundry Road. The string of five ex- Midland and two ex-LMS locomotives were:- Double-framed 2F 0-6-0 No. 22853 (condemned), 2F 0-6-0 No. 22913, 1P 0-4-4T No. 58041 (condemned), Fowler 3P 2-6-2T No. 40037, MR Compound 4P 4-4-0 No. 41044, 3F 0-6-0 43482, 4F 0-6-0 44584. Note the 'bits of engines' stacked up.
