Fine C20th window in a C19th style
This fine memorial window commemorates two members of the Bevan family who died in the mid 1920s - and yet the style is distinctly retro. The depictions of the exile from Eden, Abraham Isaac and the sacrificial lamb, and the building of Noah's ark are particularly vivid. The window is immediately inside the entrance and the Old Testament story continues in the next window, including a wonderful representation of the mutual incomprehension among the workers in the building of the Tower of Babel.
