Trotting pony at Shatterford Bottom, New Forest
This pony is trotting towards the footbridge across the bog in Shatterford Bottom. The mire in the background is crossed by Shatter Ford (in the distance). The Scots pine trees in the distance on the right are growing on the ramp up to the railway bridge that allows Commoners' stock to cross the railway to Stephill Bottom and the heath beyond.
