Caves, Bass Rock
Bass Rock is a volcanic plug sited in the Forth of Forth near to North Berwick. It rises out of the sea to a height of 350 feet and it is about a mile in circumference. Through the Rock, from the East to West, runs a natural tunnel only accessible at low tide. The lighthouse is situated to the south of the island. The Bass Rock is home to 10% of the world's Gannet (Morus bassanus) population.
