St Matthews church, Norwich
St Matthews church, Norwich
The church of St Matthew's was designed in a neo-Norman style by Diocesan architect John Brown as a chapel of ease to the parish church of Thorpe St Andrew > Link. The church was opened in 1851 and declared redundant a century later. Scheduled for demolition it was rescued and has since been converted into offices. A grid line runs through the building and the west half of it is in the adjoining grid square.
