Sir Watkin's Tower
Sir Watkin's Tower
The remains of the tower built at the end of the eighteenth century by Sir Watkin Williams Wynn. There is a direct line of sight from this peak to Moel Famau. The Williams Wynn family were also responsible for the building up of the quality of the grouse moor on the mountain.
This tower gets a mention on the "What can you see" disc on The Cliffe at Nesscliffe in North Shropshire. SJ3920
