Replica of the Resurgam
This is a full size replica of the first Resurgam submarine and was built by trainees of Rathbone Community Industry (AMARC) in 1997. Resurgam II was much larger and was the first mechanically powered submarine put to sea. Built in 1879 it sank a few months later and was re-discovered in 1995. More info here: LinkExternal link
