Is this multi-stemmed magnolia growing around the southern end of SX8754 : Tennis court, Greenway the specimen of Magnolia campbellii which Max Mallowan planted in 1938? Some confusion at Link , since Magnolia grandiflora has cream, not pink, flowers; see also Link . Alas, I didn't visit the property this spring when it flowered late. Perhaps the coloured kite is a leftover from an earlier event.
