Market Cross - Bowns Hill, Crich
The original wooden market cross was replaced in 1871 by the present stone cross, designed by Isaac Petts. The Market Place is now at the bottom of Bowns Hill. A footpath leads up through the passageway past the buildings of Cross Farm and Cross Cottages. The road to the left leads to the Tramway Museum SK3454.
