Taken on an Open Day, intrepid visitors can be seen climbing the stairs and walking across the top - mostly teenagers it seemed daring their pals to make the crossing! Fortunately with the centenary approaching, EU and other funds allowed a major refurbishment to make this historic bridge safe again.
