The fall of Phoenix Rise at Blakenhall, Wolverhampton
The fall of Phoenix Rise at Blakenhall, Wolverhampton
There were six tower blocks in Blakenhall, built in the 1960s. This is the last, some of the others having been demolished in seconds using explosives. Phoenix Rise is coming down by slower methods, chunk by chunk, skip by skip, with the assistance of an enormous crane. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
