The Large Fort on Garn Goch
The Large Fort on Garn Goch
Garn Goch is a hill covered in red bracken. It is the site of an ancient settlement. There are 2 hills, each with a "fort". All that remains of the forts are the bands of collapsed loose grey stones that encircle each hill. The larger fort is pictured here, as seen from the south. It is said to contain a burial chamber.
