Going down to silver town - Nenthead
This view looks down on the track from the old quarries above Roughside which is now part of Isaac's Tea Trail to Dykeheads and Nenthead. Nenthead boomed when improvements in smelting increased the amount of silver extracted from the lead ore. This was from the early 1830s to the 1860s.
