Road-sign in West Hythe village
Road-sign in West Hythe village
This old road-sign can be found on the lane just north of the Royal Military Canal at the bottom of Lympne Hill. The hills behind are known as The Roughs and are famous for the 'listening ear' that stands upon them - a dish providing an early warning of attack coming from across the English Channel in the days before RADAR.
