Fine trees on the Farnham estate
Fine trees on the Farnham estate
Part of a great stand of trees gradually changing colour in the October sun. They are typical of many trees which have been strategically planted among the hills and lakes of the Farnham estate in the course of the three centuries it has been owned by the Maxwell family. The last Maxwell to own the estate planted a group of trees in 2000 to mark the new millennium: he died the following year. This beautiful estate is now run as an hotel, spa, business and golf centre by the international firm, Redisson Blu LinkExternal link
