Moss Rake
Moss Rake
A "rake" is traditionally a line of pits along a vein of ore. Moss Rake was originally worked for lead, but nowadays it's calcite (previously considered a waste product, and known locally as "Derbyshire Spar") that's being quarried - see LinkExternal link for more information on calcite.
