taken 13 years ago, near to Gateforth, North Yorkshire, England
The public right of way goes across this field
If you do not keep to the path (or where the footpath should be) the farmer can tell you that you are trespassing. If you do stray off a public right of way and the farmer stops you, politely tell him that it's his fault because he has not marked the footpath across his fields. A public right of way from Woodhouse Farm to Gateforth Wood.
