A picture with a story: The flag and memorial stone are for a US World War II pilot whose plane was in trouble as he flew in across the English Channel. After his crew parachuted to safety, he decided to attempt a crash landing, rather than bail out himself, risking the plane crashing into houses. It was here that he lost his life.
