Brook No. 2 Mill, Hollinwood
Brook No. 2 Mill, Hollinwood
1883 built spinning mill. Now in the ownership of "Trendsetter". The rectangular two story building is the converted engine house. 1100 hp George Saxon engine. Shape is in keeping with a horizontal four cylinder layout and it may well have been gear drive judging by its geometry and the date. There is a truncated chimney. The Mill practically overlaps Durban and is very close to Heron (q.v.)
