Footpath to Burnbrae

This is the first section of one of West Dunbartonshire's core paths, as seen from a point close to where it begins at the main road. (It begins on the right-hand side of NS3879 : Main Street Renton, at the entrance that appears not far beyond the small yellow sign in NS3879 : Renton Sign.)

This first part, leading to an underpass below the railway line, is, unfortunately, the least scenic section; here, the path is very much confined between the grounds of a church, on the left, and those of NS3879 : Millburn Roads Depot, on the right.

The path leads to NS3879 : Hillside Avenue, Burnbrae, then passes the Vale of Leven Cemetery before descending NS3879 : Overton Road, Alexandria, to finish at the junction of Overton Road and NS3880 : Smollett Street, Alexandria.
