Mardale Crescent, Lymm, Cheshire
Mardale Crescent is part of the Dairy Farm development between Rushgreen Road and the Bridgewater Canal in Lymm. This development of mainly semi-detached housing was completed around 1975. The estate is typically open plan. The houses pre-date energy-saving oriented building regulations. Their design maximizes internal natural light through large windows. Developed during a housing boom, their original specification and quality of build was not high. They are very conveniently located for village-centre amenities.
The view beyond the head of the cul-de-sac is over the Manchester Ship Canal towards the West Pennine Moors.
