The metalwork is the support of TL1005 : M1 sign gantry.
This was taken at approximately 16:30 during a short stop in our 12 hour journey between Bournemouth and Long Eaton. The major delays had been about an hour at junction 2 on the M3, about 3 hours on the Kew to Hanger Lane section of the North Circular and (yet to come when this was taken) about 3 and a half hours at M1 junction 14.
