TR0041 : Beaver Road, South Ashford
near to Ashford, Kent, Great Britain

Beaver Road, South Ashford
Named after the Beaver Inn, this is a typical Victorian Street. It is hard to imagine that until 1994, this was the main A2070 for Hamstreet (6 miles), New Romney (13 miles), Lydd (16 miles), Rye (19 miles) and Hastings (30 miles). Today the road has a collapsible barrier at the north end (behind the camera) to prevent and through traffic that doesn't resemble a bus or a bike!
