For once the OS has let us down! The scale of maps available on line is not sufficiently detailed to split Bo'ness into its constituent parts. The "Grangepans" referred to on one or two submissions isn't quite right. To the outsider it matters little but in Bo'ness wars have started over less! No one would ever have confused a "Granger" from Grangepans and attending the Grange School, with a Bridgeness Cannie Nannie (don't ask!). "The Toon" extends east as far as Boundary Street, Grangepans then takes over as far as Cowdenhill Road. From there to Bridgeness Lane we are in Bridgeness and beyond that to the east you are in Carriden. These were originally separate settlements and even allowing for infill development, there are still discernible gaps between the areas. AboutBritain.com has a good map of Bo'ness showing the relevant streets.
