The view, out towards Belfast Lough and the Co Down coast, ten minutes after sunset and 96 minutes after high water. The quay was the subject of a recent renovation, including resurfacing, and is a significant improvement on J4287 : Fisherman's Quay, Carrickfergus (3).
Fishermans Quay, Carrickfergus
The Fishermans Quay at Carrickfergus was built in the 1830’s to serve the local fishing fleet. The fleet no longer exists. The quay is sometimes used by jetskiers.
