NY8045 : Mine shaft and moudiwarps

taken 13 years ago, near to Coalcleugh, Northumberland, England

Mine shaft and moudiwarps
Mine shaft and moudiwarps
A spoil heap covers the remains of a shaft over one of the lead veins at Coalcleugh. This resembles a giant mole hill. The moles (moudiwarps) not to be out done have been busy making their own hills.
