Buses on the 58 route await their next turn of duty in front of Walthamstow Library whilst a 212 moves through the bus station on a departure to Chingford Station.

The 58 route is operated by First - a major operator in the UK - and is represented here by a Plaxton bodied Dennis Trident, behind which is a brand new, in 2010, Wright Gemini bodied Volvo B5 hybrid.

The 212 route by way of a contrast is operated by CT Plus, the public transport arm of Hackney Community Transport. The London based fleet consists of around 45 vehicles and the double decker in the photo is unique within the fleet, at the time of writing, being the only East Lanc's Olympus bodied Trident.
