Lock No 22 is the top lock in the Astwood flight of six on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. In the distant are the Droitwich transmitter masts.

The Droitwich radio station broadcasts long wave and medium wave transmissions. It was established in 1934. It is the British Broadcasting Corporation's most powerful transmitter, and is the source of BBC Radio 4 Long Wave. Other stations available are medium wave BBC Radio 5 Live, Talk Sport, and Absolute Radio.
