This memorial stands on the summit of Cairnsmore of Fleet and is granite stone with an additional bronze plaque. It reads "Erected to commemorate airmen killed on this hill" and reminds the visitor of the names of those that have lost their lives in the eight plane crashes on the hill between 1940 and 1979 Link
