This is the Canadian NAAFI that was situated behind the hospital complex. It was built during the second world war. Netley Hospital has many famous connections, Queen Victoria, Florence Nightingale, Siegfried Sassoon and the fictional character,Dr Watson from the Sherlock Holmes stories, where it was mentioned, that Watson had done a Netley Course.
