NT0578 : Tower on Binns hill
near to Old Philpstoun, West Lothian, Great Britain

Tower on Binns hill
This impressive structure is the result of a bet between local landowners to decide who could best waste £100. The tower was built for only £29 (still a lot of money at the time) and stands on top of Binns Hill near Binns House overlooking the surrounding valleys.
