A preserved harbour bollard at Donegall Quay bearing the name “H&J Martin”. The company is still trading after more than 170 years. It built some of Belfast’s best-known buildings including the City Hall J3374 : Belfast City Hall, the Grand Opera House J3373 : The Grand Opera House, Belfast (1), Cleavers J3374 : Former Robinson & Cleaver building, Belfast (2), the Central library J3374 : The Central Library, Belfast (2), Stranmillis College J3371 : Stranmillis College, Belfast and Tate’s Avenue Bridge J3272 : Tate's Avenue bridge, Belfast (2).
