Summer fun in the Peace Gardens

The day in question was part of the "Sheffield By The Sea" festival. Part of the Peace Gardens outside the Town Hall had been turned into a beach with the fountains providing an alternative to the sea. South Yorkshire Police Band under MD Andrew Dennis provided a traditional musical backdrop to proceedings. In the best tradition of English summers, it started to rain shortly after I took this shot.
