Hemel Hempstead War Memorial
The memorial commemorates those inhabitants of Hemel Hempstead who died in the two world wars and subsequent conflicts in Malaya, Aden and South Atlantic. The memorial was unveiled by Lt. Col. Smeatham in June 1920. It originally stood on the site of what is now the Magic Roundabout.
