Hildersham: Holy Trinity
Hildersham: Holy Trinity
A flint church, some of which dates from the 13th and 14th centuries, with a lot of Victorian work, including gloomy glass and a painted chancel. Two 14th-century carved oak effigies, which Nikolaus Pevsner thought excellent, were stolen from the church in 1977.
