This low-lying island is exposed to salty waves at high tides; consequently the vegetation is similar to that of a salt marsh. In the photo, you can also see the kayak I hired from the local garage to reach the island (sadly, the weather was too rough for me to reach NG9038 : Sgeir Chreagach on this occasion).
