A February 2010 view of the old bridge, similar to John Haynes' October 2005 view - but this time with no leaves on the trees.
Bangor-is-y-coed/Bangor-on-Dee old bridge

This narrow bridge was by-passed in 1978, but it is still used one way for east-bound traffic only. The bridge dates to around 1660 and is believed to have been built by Inigo Jones. Further information about the bridge can be found at the Bangor-on-Dee website LinkExternal link
