Cliffs above Samphire Hoe
As seen from the North Downs Way (long distance path) on a cliff top path from Capel-le-Ferne towards Dover. Samphire Hoe is a piece of reclaimed land at the base of the cliffs, made from the spoil from the Channel Tunnel workings.
Samphire Hoe Country Park :: TR2939
Found at the bottom of a section of the White Cliffs of Dover to the West of Dover, the park was created using 4.9 million cubic metres of chalk marl from the Channel Tunnel excavations.
