Looking from Vauxhall Bridge, the "stumpy" Riverwalk House, 1964-66 by Farmer and Dark, is "an injustice to its prominent site" wrote Pevsner. It is currently occupied by the Government Office for London.
Behind, on Millbank, are some of Thomas Cubitt's mid-C19th stucco terraces.
Update: demolition of Riverwalk House began in October 2012 and was almost complete by January 2013. It is to be replaced by two residential blocks.
