There is a very pleasant (car free) walk most of the way from the town of kinsale in County Cork - Link
right to the partially restored Elizabethan Fort of Charlesfort. The walk takes about 40 minutes each way and is worth the easy enough trek to see the fort which is very impressive and offers superb photographic opportunities over harbour of Kinsale.
