The Flodden Wall and Edinburgh Castle
The Flodden Wall and Edinburgh Castle
The Flodden Wall and Edinburgh Castle. In the 16th century the Flodden Wall was erected, following the Scots' defeat at the Battle of Flodden Field in 1513. The railing, gateway and pillar through the archway are part of George Heriot's School, with Edinburgh Castle looming in the background.
