Southerness Lighthouse
Southerness Lighthouse
This is the second oldest lighthouse that exists in Scotland. It was constructed in 1748-49 and heightened in 1795 and again in 1843-44. The light was extinguished in 1936 and it is now disused. The figures give a sense of scale to this 17m high structure.
