Gate Pillars, St Mungo’s Well
Gate Pillars, St Mungo’s Well
These are the gate pillars to the former "Cold Bath", sometimes known as St. Magnus or St. Mungo's Well, where a bathing house stood behind the photographer from 1837 until 1974. Photo taken from the public green space alongside Beechwood Crescent looking out towards Cold Bath Road which carries forward the name of the old bathing establishment.
